Dear Susy, I just wanted to let you know that I gave birth to a little boy last Wedneday 28th Jan 2009, a brother for Ruby. 7 1b 9 and a half ounzes of gorgeousness who came 11 days early.I also wanted to let you know that I owe you a huge thank you for introducing me to hypnobirthing!! I used the breathing and the visualisation techniques to help with labour and they really really did!! I had a wonderful labour experience in a birthing pool at home using hypnobirthing techniques, very different to my previous hospital labour. I am now raving about it to everyone with your name attached to the end of the rave!! The midwife said is was one of the calmest and most relaxed labours she had ever witnessed. I didnt push him out, I just breathed him out!!! who would have thought it possible. The midwide at some points found it hard to know what was going on as I was so chilled. she thought my labour had stopped. She kept telling me to push and I kept so 'no pushing, I'm breathing this baby out, it will come when its ready, just tell me Im marvellous!!!
